Donald Sadoway is the John F. Elliot Professor of Materials Chemistry. He received his BASc, MASc, and PhD from University of Toronto. Sadoway is a member of the Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences, and is a five-time winner of the MIT Graduate Student Council Teaching Award. He was a MacVicar Faculty Fellow from 1995 to 2005, and received the Bose Award for the Teaching in the School of Engineering in 1997.
Sadoway’s Introduction to Solid State Chemistry is one of the most popular courses on MIT OpenCourseWare, and includes an introduction by Sadoway, in which he describes his teaching methods and the course in general.
