The statement $\cos x$ is $\sin (\frac{π}{2} - x)$ implies what about $\arccos y$ and $\arcsin y$ ?

Solution:

That $\cos x = \sin (\frac{π}{2} - x)$ implies that the angle whose cosine is $y$ is $\frac{π}{2}$ minus the angle whose sine is $y$ . In other words, we have: $a \cos y + a \sin x = \frac{π}{2}$ .
