Today's hike was peaceful. The rain pitter-pattered on top of my poncho and just kept me free to enjoy being out in nature. We didn't talk to each other much...it's hard to do that in the rain...so I just felt alone with nature. I'm really starting to be annoyed with Lynn though. She was just sulking around after we got to camp and it took her forever to get the tent up. Richard gave me a nice surprise of a candlelight dinner after the rain stopped. He took me around the trail a little and there was dinner. He is so thoughtful.
