Science and Communication

Assignments

The goal of this course is to help participants learn to communicate more effectively by developing the beginning and the end of their research story. To meet this goal, seminar participants will have the opportunity to give a short oral report that emphasizes the goals, the logical structure and the interpretation of their research. This course also requires thorough preparation of all readings to support class discussion. No formal grades are assigned. Course participants conduct research on a variety of topics. The assignments are intended to support and enhance participant’s expertise in communicating their research story irrespective of their particular research interests.
