The following table presents selected lecture videos from the Fall 2007 class, and detailed notes for lectures 1 through 20 taken by a student in the Fall 2006 class. There are occasional differences between these archive materials and the 2012 lecture outlines, reflecting continued refinement in the course. For instance, the 2006 student notes do not reflect these aspects of the 2012 class:

Howard Hawks has been added to the 2nd "Hollywood in the 1930s" session (lecture 8)
Rear Window has been added to the 2nd Hitchcock session (lecture 10)
The topic of Week 12 (lectures 23 and 24) has changed from Fellini to Kurosawa
