This is a compilation of many of the tricycles I have seen in Kenya, Tanzania, and Zambia over the past two years.
These trikes are built by APDK (Association of the Physically Disabled in Kenya). Photos were taken in Nairobi, Kenya.
These trikes are built by Disacare in Lusaka, Zambia.
These trikes are from various other workshops in Tanzania: Jaffery Industries and Palray in Dar es Salaam, the UWZ Wheelchair Workshop in Stone Town, Zanzibar, and a trike from an unidentified shop in Mwanza.
These trikes are imported to Africa from unknown sources.
