Linearized Trigonometry -- Help

The terms in a Maclaurin series are visualized, using the base and height of a right triangle with unit hypotenuse as functions of the slope of the hypotenuse.

Click or drag the m slider to set the slope of the hypotenuse and display the corresponding triangle on the a,b plane, with the base in green, and the height in blue.
Values to twelve decimal places are displayed for m, θ, a, and b.

Click one of the Maclaurin Terms checkboxes to see the first few Maclaurin coefficients of a, b, or θ as functions of the slope, m, or to clear these terms.
