personal biography Scott Lazaruk is a freshman at MIT this year and comes from Edison, New Jersey. Many people like to make fun of him for being from New Jersey, yet he just can't figure out why. First, he doesn't understand why the "What exit?" joke is so funny. In response, he enjoys reminding all that New Jersey is responsible for some of the world's most treasured people and things Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Jay and Silent Bob, the Sopranos, and that strange purple and green fire that shoots out of the refineries. And Scott insists that even if a person hasn't visited New Jersey, they've definitely driven through it. essays |
