"On Monday, February 24th 2003, I attended a meeting called a Café Scientifique in Harvard Square.  The meetings, which are organized by a weekly technology and science magazine called NewScientist, are forums that encourage a free environment for the informal exchange of ideas between both invited speakers and interested audience members....
