Lecture notes on the initial-value problem, polar coordinates and orbital plane coordinates, representation in the hodograph plane, flight-direction angle, Lagrange coefficients in terms of the true anomaly difference, Lagrange coefficients in terms of the eccentric anomaly difference, Lagrangian coefficients for parabolic orbits, solving the generalized form of Barker’s equation, and construction of a parabola and its tangents.
