Course Meeting Times

Lectures: 2 sessions / week, 1.5 hours / session

Course Requirements

This is primarily a lecture based course with homework assignments, a midterm, and final project. There is no final exam. This course is required for students in the master’s program in Medical Informatics and is open to other graduate students and advanced undergraduates.

Prerequisites

The prerequisites include Artificial Intelligence (6.034) or Medical Artificial Intelligence (HST.947), programming skills, or permission of the instructor.

Assignments

Assignments include 3 homeworks with a programming component and a final project report (5 pages plus references, figures, tables on the web) and oral presentation.
