Lecture 25: Power Series and the Weierstrass Approximation Theorem

Description: We return to the study of power series as we conclude our semester of 18.100A. We prove the Weierstrass Approximation Theorem, showing that every continuous function on a closed and bounded interval is a uniform limit of a sequence of polynomials.
