System components, including balance of systems components. Design criteria, tradeoffs, costs. Building integration, BIPV. Scaling, and power grid integration. Appropriate technology selection. Life cycle analysis. Failure: failure modes in stationary and tracking systems, accelerated testing, field testing, service and warranty contracts. Fire safety.
