  1. Memorize [ISC] Basic Conversation Exchange 1–4 for in-class performance. Be sure to know who says the line.
  2. Be familiar with all the Supplementary Vocabulary on P.134 and read the Grammatical and Cultural Notes on P.134–137.

  1. Do [ISC] Unit 15 Part 3 Listening Comprehension Exercises and hand it in in next class.
  2. Open the [ICSPB] on the back cover page:

  1. Read the SIMPLIFIED CHARACTER version of the Basic Conversation of [ISC] 15-3 in the accompanying DVD. You are required to be able to read all the characters.
  2. Memorize the new characters (be sure to know how to write them correctly) and go through the SIMPLIFIED CHARACTER version of the Reading Exercises for [ISC] 15-3 P.146–147. *Do work with audio files.

You don’t don’t need to prepare for Part C Narrative and Part D: A Chinese joke.
