Students taking this class for credit are required to do one of the following:
- Hand in a detailed proposal for a study focusing on some aspect of language disorders relevant to any of the issues discussed in class, with or without actual results.
- Build upon an existing study form L1 acquisition and extend it to a population of children identified as having a particular language disorder. Or, reformulate an existing study conducted with children identified as having a specific language impairment that is “flawed” in some fundamental manner.
- Propose your own idea.
