This lecture starts with a review of the Fourier series and waveform characteristics in the time and frequency domains, including the decomposition of waveforms into odd and even components and half-wave symmetric and half-wave repeating components. The single-phase full-bridge inverter (DC-to-AC converter) is introduced along with simple techniques to control the AC output.
