Transmedia Storytelling: Modern Science Fiction

Major Assignments

There will be three major assignments in this class.

  1. First Expansion (PDF)
    Due: Session 11
    A single expansion of previous original work onto another platform.

  2. Critical Essay (PDF)
    Due: Session 19
    A critical, analytical essay on some specific aspect of transmedia or a single transmedia product.

  3. Final Project

    Due: Session 24
    Presentations: Session 24 & 25
    For your final projects you will work in teams to create an original narrative that functions on multiple platforms, each of which enhances and expands the storytelling in a manner unique to that medium.
