OPTIONAL
The format of Quiz 2 is two long-answer/short-essay questions (like Quiz 1). One of the questions will be the same as Quiz 1 (Global Rule, Equivalence, 3 Contexts), and one will be taken from either Krumhansl’s Probe-Tone Experiments, David Huron’s Sweet Anticiation, the reading on the ILLIAC Suite, George Lewis’s lecture on Improvisation, or on a short topics including Leon Hackleroad’s How not to Mix Mathematics and Music, and my “Tipping the Iceberg” video about the number of lost songs from the Middle Ages.
